Archaeological description
Auction Archaeological Center 2024: A Hellenistic Lead Weight. 2nd - 1st century BCE. 250.3 gr, 7.8x8.1x0.7 cm. Damaged and broken in two pieces. Depicting on the obverse the ΛI monogram of Litra and the letter A. The Greek inscription on the back is fragmentary but it reads: EΠICKO / ΠI??M? / IBIOY \ ?A, and is probably restorable. Ex Shlomo Moussaieff coll., Herzliya Pituah.
