A. Gallo se fonde principalement sur les 34 amphores vinaires retrouvées entières dans l’atrium, en plus d’autres fragments découverts de ci de là, pour suggérer que les habitants de la maison, sans doute les Epidii, étaient actifs dans la production et le commerce de vin (Gallo 2013, p. 205).
