Decloedt 1914: Ce poids en plomb, de forme quadrangulaire, provient d’Ascalon. Il mesure 0m,035 de côté et pèse 35 gr. 30. Sur la face, dans un carré creux circonscrit par un élégant rebord de 0m,003 d’épaisseur, l’inscription suivante: L. ΑϘΡ (l’an 191) Α|ΓΟΡΑΝΟ|ΜΟΥΝΤΟ|C ΝΙΚΑΝ|ΔΡΟΥ, en cinq lignes horizontales superposées. Le revers est quadrillé de losanges.
