Auction Leu 2022, 2023: Ionia, Smyrna, circa 2nd-3rd centuries. Weight of 1 Litra (Lead, 96 mm, 474.00 g, 4 h), Markos Aurelios, son of Eraseinos, asiarch and hipparch. M•AYP / ЄPACЄIN૪ / YOY•ACIAP/XOY within raised rim inscribed, on the inner side, with X-Ⲱ-[...] and decorated, on the outer side, with pellet-in-annulets; to upper right, countermark: M AYP ЄP/ACЄINO/Y YOY A/CIAPXO/Y IΠΠA. Rev. IΠΠAPXOY. ISmyrn 791. Extremely rare and very impressive. Some scuffs, otherwise, good very fine. From a European collection, formed before 2005.
