Archaeological description
Auction Leu 2022: Syria, Cyrrhestica. Beroea (?), circa 1st-2nd centuries AD. Weight of 1/2 Litra (?) (Lead, 46x55 mm, 173.81 g), Klaudios Theophanes, magistrate. ΔΙΑ ΚΛΑΥΔΙΟΥ ΘΕΟΦΑΝ[ΟΥC] (?) Turreted, veiled and draped bust of Tyche to right. Rev. Blank. Pondera -, but cf. 3587 (for a larger weight from Beroea with similar iconography). Very fine.
