Weight of 1 Ounce (Bronze, 23x23x5 mm, 24.99 g, 12 h), Official imperial weight to be used in the eastern provinces, dated year B of Nero under Claudius, 51/2. ET B THC NEPΩNOC Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; crescent countermark in the left field. Rev. HΓE/MON/IAC in three lines of inlaid letters; on the edges: KΛAY/ΔIOY/KAIC/APOC. Of great importance! Extremely rare. Brown patina. Very fine. From the collection of a young Lady, Switzerland.
