BnF: Tiers de mine attique carré. Plomb. L. 4,7 cm ; épaisseur : 1,4 cm ; Poids: 286 gr. ˹T˺PI dans le champ droit ; TH[Σ] (Tρίτης) dans le champs gauche. Une amphore.
Babelon & Blanchet 1895: Poids quadrangulaire. Tiers de mine attique. Une des faces est décorée d’une amphore. A droite, les lettres ΤΡΙ; à gauche, ΤΗΣ (= Τρίτης); les lettres Τ et Σ de la seconde partie de la légende sont déformées par une éraflure). Plomb. poids, 286 gr. Long. des côtés, 46 mill. Trouvé à Égine, et acquis à la vente de la collection du vicomte Beugnot, en 1840.
Pernice 1894: / Quadratische Bleistück. Paris, Cab. Des méd. Oben Amphora in Relief. Bezeichnet TPITH. Die Inschrift ist verschieden gelesen worden [ΤΡΙΤΗΣ de Witte; ΤΡΙΥΗΙ CIG]. Nach der Abbildung und der Analogie der übrigen Stücke ist τριτη(μόριον) zu lesen. Mittelmässig erhalten. Aus Aegina. Gewicht 284,20 gr (Einheit 852,60 gr).
Autoptic examination: Lead weight, square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: bumps and hollows; big vertical cut on the amphora's body; cuts and hollows on the amphora and around: on the lower left of the amphora and on the upper left (on the letter T); light horizontal cuts on the lower on the reverse; greyish on the reverse; strokes on the sides. Slightly rounded corners; the upper right corner is bevelled, flattened and folded; straight edges and sides; the reverse is slightly hollowed. On the obverse, depiction of an amphora in relief. The amphora's neck is long and its foot is short and trapezoid. The handles are rounded and extend to the rim. On the right and left edges, letters in relief: TPI TH. (Height without relief: 1.1 cm).
