Archaeological description
Glass weight. Disc. Colour (Farbe): hellblau. Iconography: No cross. No wreath.
CPAI III/2: Middle of the 6th - 7th century AD Eastern Mediterranean. Weight for a silver coin (half siliqua). Glass, 16.5 x 3 mm; 1.05 g. Inv. no. PMA 2850. Acquired in 2007. Description: Dark-blue coloured, translucent round weight with a central impression. The rim is slightly chamfered. The block monogram is composed of the letters ΠΔ. in the centre, E on the right and OV at the top. If we read a lambda with the delta, the name can be resolved as EΛΠΙΔlOV.
