Archaeological description
Glass weight. Disc. Colour (Farbe): dunkelblau. Iconography: No cross. No wreath.
CPAI III/2:1st half of the 7th century AD. Eastern Mediterranean. Weight for a gold coin (solidus/23 carat). Glass, 25 x 5-7 mm; 4.25 g. Inv. no. PMA 1760. Acquired in 2006. Description: Blue coloured, transparent round weight with a central impression. The cruciform monogram is composed of the letters M on the left, Γ and Θ at the bottom, E on the right, and the ligature  at the top. The M on the right is not clear and could be an H, too. If it is an M, the monogram can be resolved as MEΓEΘΙ.
