Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings, including on the tortoise's shell and on the corners. Some small strokes, hollows and flaking on the reverse and on the sides. Rounded corners and straight edges. On the obverse, light frame and depiction of an half-tortoise in relief. There are dots on the shell and the tortoise's legs are long and curved. On the upper edge, letters in relief [H]ΜΙΤ and on the lower, oriented in the opposite direction, ΕΤΑΡ.

British Museum: Lead weight: a half tortoise, 1/8 stater. Inscription in relief.
