Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings, small strokes and lumps. Small horizontal cut on the left edge; stroke and large cut on the amphora's foot; the lower right side of the amphora is a bit flattened. Rounded corners and straight edges; the upper left corner is folded. On the obverse, light frame and depiction of an amphora (Panathenaic type II?) in relief. The amphora's handles are round and deep. On the upper right corner, letters deeply engraved : IT and, below and horizontally, Λ.
