Commercial weight. Disc. Bei Papadopoulos Kerameus sind 81,178g und 4 cm Dm angegeben. Iconography: Cross above marks of value. No wreath. Two imperial busts.
Dürr 1964: Poids en bronze. Diam. 40,3 mm; épais. 9 mm; poids 80,69 g. Forme ronde (pl. 17). Av. Bustes d’une impératrice et d’un empereur nimbés de face, entre eux, une croix. Rv. †Γ gravé. 3 onces. Sur la tranche, entre deux lignes, gravé:+ Επι Ιωαννου του ἑνδοζ(ου) κομ(ητος) τ(ων) θ(ειον) λαρ(γι) τ(ιων) (ἐπι) τ(ης) ἰνδ(ικτιωωος) ις [sic]. Il s’agit ici probablement du fameux consul et patricien Johannes Capadocicus qui tenait un rôle important dans l’administration des finances. Il fut préfet des prétoriens à partir de 531 apr. J.C.
