Dürr 1964: Exagium solidi. Dim. 15,2 × 16 mm; épais. 2,8 mm; poids 3,93 g. Forme rectangulaire (pl. 16). Av. Buste diadémé de Marcien (450–457 apr. J.C.) de face. Rv. Monogramme dans un grènetis. Ex.: Monnaie et médailles, Bâle, liste 105, n° 73.
Campagnolo and Weber 2015: 421. Poids de I solidius (exagium solidi). Atelier monétaire de Thessalonique (?), 450-457. Laiton. Poids 3,93 g ; hauteur 15,2 mm ; largeur 16,0 mm ; épaisseur 2,8 mm ; axe des coins 180°. Inv. CdN 32581 bis/282, don de Mme Lucien Naville. Dessin : n°12. Avers : buste de face diadémé et drapé aux traits de Marcien (450-457). Revers : dans un carré de grènetis, monogramme en bloc pour Marcianus surmonté d'une croix. Technique : poids monétaire frappé sans indication de la valeur.
