Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: strokes and hollows on the obverse, including on the crescent; cuts on the sides. The reverse is bumpy; important lump on the right side and one part is missing on the left. The weight is nearly cut in half; there is a big cut and hole between the obverse and the reverse, especially on the right side. Rounded corners; the upper corners are slightly raised; irregular edges. On the obverse, light frame and depiction of a crescent in relief. Below the crescent, retrograd inscription in relief: ΔΕΜΟ, that followed the crescent's curve.
