Archaeological description
Roman basalt weight in the shape of truncated sphere. Slightly worn. The numeral X is incised on one base, presumably to indicate the value of 10 Librae. With an actual weight of 2775 g, the object is much lighter than its denomination. The diameter of the bases measures 10.2 and 11 cm, respectively.
