Archaeological description
Late Roman basalt weight in the shape of truncated sphere. A large non-through hole, 1.5 cm deep, is cut in the center of the upper base, for calibration purposes. Along the circumference, a round mark seems to be stamped with a small chrismon. The object is in good conditions and only presents few scratches. The diameter of the bases measures 7.2 and 7.4 cm, respectively.
