Archaeological description
Square lead weight ; frame ; slightly worn and little corroded (mostly on the right corner and on the back of the tuna fish) ; slightly concave. A tuna fish stands between the ethnic (KYZI) and the denomination (TETA) (to the right) ; the fish's back is slighlty damaged. The reverse is flat and blank. Height without relief: 0,6 cm.
Tekin 2013b: This is a square lead weight measuring 51 x 50 x 4 mm and weighing 129.1 g; with rounded corners and slightly raised edges; worn and corroded. On the obverse is tuna fish to right; above, ΚΥΖI(κηνῶν); below, TETA which stands for τεταρτον. A small part on the body of the fish is missing. Its mass corresponds its denomination; it is a tetarton, i.e. a quarter mna (mna of 516.4 g). The reverse is blank.

Comments on Chronology
Tekin 2013b: May be dated to the 4th-1st centuries B.C. But we have to consider that some weights of Cyzicus may be dated to the Roman Imperial Period, at least to the A.D. 1st century.
