Archaeological description
Square lead weight, with rounded corners ; little worn and little corroded (mostly on the upper part). A torch stands between the ethnic (KYZI) and the denomination (HMI) (to the right). The letters on the upper part are not very legible. There are three slight strokes besides the torch on the left. The reverse is flat and blank.
Tekin 2013b: Square lead weight with rounded corners and slightly raised edges; measuring 24 x 23 x 3 mm and weighing 13.3 g; worn and patinated. On the obverse is a torch to right; above, ΚΥΖΙ(κηνῶν); below, HMI which stands for hemistateron (stater of 26.6 g); all in relief. The reverse of the weight is blank.

Comments on Chronology
Tekin 2013b: May be dated to the 4th-1st centuries B.C. But we have to consider that some weights of Cyzicus may be dated to the Roman Imperial Period, at least to the A.D. 1st century.
