Archaeological description
Square lead weight with rounded corners ; little worn and very corroded. A torch stands between the ethnic (KYZ) and the denomination ([C]TA) (to the left). The reverse (very corroded) is blank.
Tekin 2013b: Square lead weight with rounded corners and slightly raised edges; measuring 29 x 28 x 3 mm and weighing 21.0 g; worn and corroded. On the obverse is a torch to left; above, ΚΥΖΙ(κηνῶν); below, [C]TA(τηρον); all in relief. It is a stateron in unit. The reverse of the weight is blank.

Tekin 2013b: Late Hellenistic, 2nd–1st centuries B.C. But we have to consider that some weights of Cyzicus may be dated to the Roman Imperial Period, at least to the A.D. 1st century.
