Archaeological description
Square lead weight, with rounded corners ; very worn and corroded. A torch stands between the ethnic (KYZI) and the denomination (ΔΥΟ) (to the left). The letters are not very legible. The reverse is flat and blank (slight vertical stroke on the left).
Tekin 2013b: Square lead weight with rounded corners, measuring 27 x 27 x 5 mm and weighing 36.8 g; worn. On the obverse is a torch to left; above, ΚΥΖΙ(κηνῶν); below, ΔΥΟ(στάτηρον); all in relief. It is a distateron in unit (statter of 18.4 g). The reverse of the weight is blank.

Comments on Chronology
Tekin 2013b: May be dated to the 4th-1st centuries B.C. But we have to consider that some weights of Cyzicus may be dated to the Roman Imperial Period, at least to the A.D. 1st century.
