Archaeological description
Tekin 2015b: It is a bronze weight; discoid with double-grooved profile; raised rims and centring points on the top and bottom; measuring 34x8 mm and weighing 54.50 g. Engraved on the obverse with the denominational mark Γ Β and cross above; all within a eight pointed herring-bone star compose of two intersecting squares. In the outer margin, ΘЄȣ ΧΑΡΙC (=Grace of God). It is a two-uncia (uncia of 27.25 g) The bottom is blank.
