Archaeological description
Tekin 2013g: This is a bowl-shaped bronze weight with a base on the bottom; concentric circles around the centring point in the interior; there is a hole on the bottom; patinated and corroded. There is a loss of weight due to the hole at base. Its weight corresponds to an uncia. It measures 47 mm in diameter (at largest point) and weighs 20.66 g. This Byzantine weight may be one-uncia in unit.
