Archaeological description
Tekin 2013g: This bronze weight is square in form with flat profile. Engraved on the top with a herring-bone wreath enclosing the cross above the denominational mark N S; at corners, engraved and punched crosses. Denominational letters and cross are originally inlaid but inlay is missing. Bottom is blank. Patinated. It measures 24 x 24 x 5 mm and weighs 24.54 g. It is a six-nomismata weight.
