Archaeological description
Tekin 2013g: This bronze weight is discoid with double-grooved convex profile and raised rim on the top; centring points on the top and bottom; engraved on the top with a wreath of herring-bone and scalloped border enclosing a cross above the denominational mark Γ Γ; originally inlaid but inlay is missing. It measures 38 x 10 mm and weighs 79.36 g. The bottom is blank but groove through the edge. Corroded and patinated. It is a three-uncia weight.
