Archaeological description
Fragmented circular weight, measuring 62x55x14/32 mm and weighing 434,8 grammes ; extremely worn and corroded. On the obverse, the right part is missing ; there is a bulge on the upper part ; more or less in the middle, circular handle ; the inferior border is slightly raised. Many strokes and notches in the middle of the reverse ; slightly raised borders. No symbol and no inscription. Height without handle: 2,1 cm.
Robinson 1941: Inv. 31.212. Lead weight. Dm. 0.064 m., Th.0.01-0.02 m., including knob 0.032 m., Weight 434.5grammes, perhaps a mina. This weight was originally circular with a knob handle, 0.013 m. in height and 0.014 m. in diameter on the top, and a narrow raised band around the flat reverse. All one side has been pushed in, smearing over the top and throwing the handle out of position.
