Archaeological description
Square lead weight measuring 25/26x26x8 mm and weighing 53,8 grammes ; slightly rounded corners ; worn and corroded. On the obverse, incised letters OΓ (or OΠ) ; little bumps and notches around. The reverse is blank and has many strokes. The sides are slightly hollowed.
Robinson 1941: Inv. 31.422. Lead weight. Ht. 0.027 m., W. 0.025 m., Th. 0.007 m., Weight 53.75 grammes. Rectangular. On one side are some meaningless incisions resembling the letters ΠΠ. This must be an eighth of a mina, but the letters are not ΟΓ = ὄγδοον.
