Archaeological description
Robinson 1941: Inv. 31.144. Lead weight. Ht. 0.041 m., W. 0.039 m., Th. 0.02 m., Weight 303 grammes. Rectangular. Obverse rather rough. Reverse concave with a narrow raised border. The hollow has been largely filled up by a smear of lead, level with the border. Through the center is a rectangular hole, tapering from reverse to obverse, ca. 0.005 by 0.003 m. on reverse, ca. 0.0025 m. square on obverse. This piece is probably only three-quarters of a mina, which ought to weigh 412-420 grammes.
