Archaeological description
Robinson 1941: Rectangular. Obverse slightly concave, with corners bevelled off. The reverse seems originally to have been concave without a border but at each corner there was a short leg-like projection, triangular in section. Covering the reverse between these legs a slab of lead, 0.005 m. thick, has been added subsequently. In the center of the obverse is an astragalus in high relief, 0.027 m. long, 0.022 m. wide and ca. 0.01 m. high. This seems to be a double mina or stater of the heavy Attic type of ca. 874 grammes.
