Archaeological description
Square lead weight measuring 44x43x7 mm and weighing 100,7 grammes ; very worn and very corroded. On the obverse, incised T ; bump on the inferior part ; little notch on the left of the letter. The reverse is very corroded ; engraved L on the upper left corner? The borders are irregular, slightly raised on the right.
Robinson 1941: Inv. 31.332. Lead weight. L. 0.0485 m., W.0.04 m., Th. 0.009 m., Weight 100.5 grammes. Worn and underweight. Irregularly oval. The obverse is flat. The reverse is irregular and rough. On obverse deeply incised is the letter T, 0.018 m. high, τεταρτημόριον. Exact provenience unknown.
