Archaeological description
Square (?) lead weight, measuring 44x46/47x22 mm and weighing 418 grammes ; with rounded corners ; worn and corroded. On the obverse, incised M, little bump under ; major notch on the left. The reverse is blank and flat (with light strokes).  Many strokes and notches on the sides, mostly the superior and the right ones.
Robinson 1941: Inv. 31.129. Lead weight. Ht. 0.048 m., W. 0.044 m., Th. 0.022 m., Weight 419.5 grammes. Roughly rectangular. The sides are slightly hollowed, edges and corners rounded. The obverse and reverse are flat. On the obverse, rudely scratched, is the letter Μ, 0.011 m. high, indicating that this is a mina.
