CPAI III/1: Rectangular in form, but nearly one-third is missing; with raised edge; pierced; worn and corroded. On
the obverse, ΗΜ[Ι]/ΛΕ[Ι] / ΤΡO[N] in relief. On the reverse, [.] . Κ / ΟΔΕ[...] / [.]ΤΟΥ. The missing part would bring the mass up to c.150 g. It is a hemilitron in unit.

Edition: CPAI III 1, cat. no. 449. Date: IInd-IIIrd centuries CE. An interpunct on side B in line 1 divides the abbreviated version of Tiberius Claudius. Although the beginning of the personal name between lines 2 and 3 is not preserved, it should have been the genitive of Modestus. An edict that deals with the riots caused by an association of bakers in Ephesos mentioned a certain Claudius Modestus, who served as prytanis11. Iulius Claudius Modestus on this half-libra balance weight might be identical to the person in this edict.
