Archaeological description
CPAI III/1: Rectangular cutting board in form; with tab (pierced for suspension). On the obverse, caduceus; to right, ΛΙΤΡΑ; all in double border of dots (dots in inner row are large while the dots in outer row are small); all in relief. Caduceus is the attribute of Hermes (Hermes Agoraios), patron god of trade and merchants, and is depicted on weights frequently. The reverse is blank. It is a litra in unit.
