CPAI III/1: Triangular in form with bevelled edges and thick tab on top; worn and corroded. On the obverse, Λ[ΕΙ]/ΤΡ/Α in relief (hardly visible); on the tab, circular stamp within which inscription ΜΗ/ΤΡΟΔ/ΟΡΟΥ (of Metrodoros). On the profile, herringbone pattern. The reverse is blank. Its mass corresponds to a litra.

This inscription in three-lines refers to Metrodoros in the genitive. A certain Marcus Aurelius Metrodoros, identified through an inscription found in Ephesos, served as grammateus of demos, argyrotamios, eirenakhes, strategos and agoranomos7. The personal name on this one-libra weight and Marcus Aurelius Metrodoros are most probably referring to the same person.
