Archaeological description
CPAI III/1: Heart-shaped or ivy leaf-shaped in form with raised edge; worn and corroded. On the obverse, ΙΠΠΑΡΧΟ[Υ under stamp] in relief; below, stamp with inscription in four lines: Μ ΒΕΛ[..]/ΝΙΟC ΑΝ/ΤΙCΘEN/ΙΠΠ. On the reverse, Μ•ΒΕΛ•/ΑΝΤΙC/ΘΕΝΟ/Υ[. or vacant] in relief. Its mass corresponds to a litra agoraia.
Weiß 2016: Gewicht aus Blei derselben Form und Machart. Gut erhalten. H 9,1 cm, B 8,3 cm, D 1 cm. Gewicht 400 g. Auf der Oberseite ein sechseckiger Kontrollstempel, der den Buchstaben der dritten Zeile gelöscht und sich nach hinten durchgedrückt hat.
