RIB II: Support: Type of object: Steelyard weight. Material: Bronze. Dimensions: Weight 1010 gm. Decoration and iconography: The object has the form of a female head with coiffure in the style of Faustina II or of Fausta. Site: Kingscote. Find context: Found during excavations at Kingscote, The Chessalls, in association with a coin of Magnentius. Find date: 1978. Modern location: Now in the Corinium Museum in Cirencester. Institution: Corinium Museum: inv. no. unknown. Text field: Manner of execution: The weight was cast hollow and filled from the underside with lead which bears the impressed inscription.
