RIB II: Support: Type of object: Weight. Material: Stone. Dimensions: 52 by (?) 152 mm, height 172 mm with pierced loop above. Site: Bosence. Find context: Found with RIB 2417.1, within a rectangular earthwork at ‘Bossens’ in St Erth parish near St Ives, at a depth of eighteen feet in a well, and associated with a pewter jug, uninscribed. Find date: 1756. Modern location: Now in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Institution: Ashmolean Museum: inv. no. unknown. Text field: Style of lettering: In capitals. Letter heights: (not specified).
