Archaeological description
CPAI III/2: Bowl (or plate)-shaped, shallow, with double raised rim on the top; centring point and boss on the top; the bottom is plain. Patinated. Its mass doesn’t correspond to a standard Byzantine unit but it may be a three-nomismata (nomisma of 3.60 g) although its mass is too low for this unit.
