Archaeological description
Tekin 2024: Three-Uncia? Pb 72.85 g, 29x32x8 mm. Inv. no. 74.33.93. Find place: Değirmendere-Colophon. Acquired in 1993. Lead weight, square in form. On the obverse, a punched Γ which may stand for “three”, then three-uncia in unit (uncia of 24.28 g) but not certain since the punched dots are irregular. It may be dated to the Roman Imperial period.
