Archaeological description
Tekin 2024: Decadrachmon? Pb 38.50 g, 21x21x9 mm. Inv. no. 12.61.92. Find place: Kolophon. Acquired in 1992. Lead weight, square in form with slightly raised edges. On the obverse, engraved with I which may refer to “ten”, ie. decadrachmon (drachm of 3.85 g). The reverse is blank. It dates to the Hellenistic period.
