Archaeological description
Tekin 2024: Distateron? Pb 49.35 g, 31x32x6 mm. Inv. no. 73.33.93. Find place: Değirmendere-Colophon. Acquired in 1993. Lead weight, square in form with slightly raised edges. Both faces are blank. Its weight corresponds with distateron (stater of 24.67 g) but not certain since it doesn’t bear any unit mark. It may be dated to the Hellenistic period.
