Archaeological description
Tekin 2024: Ogdoon? Pb 68.95 g, 25x30x10 mm. Inv. no. 28.44.89. Find place: Ayrancılar. Acquired in 1989. Lead weight, square in form. Both faces are blank and plain. Its mass corresponds with an ogdoon (mna of 551.6 g) but not certain since it doesn’t bear a unit mark. It dates to the Hellenistic period.
