Archaeological description
CPAI III/1 : Square in form with rounded corners; worn and corroded. On the obverse, ΤΕ(ταρτον) in relief; below, bee. Bee is a civic symbol of Ephesus thus this weight may belong to Ephesus. The reverse is blank. It is a tetarton, i.e. one-fourth of a mna (mna of 422.8 g).
