Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; flaking, light lumps and hollows on the reverse. On the obverse, below the half-amphora, a 2-3 mm diameter hole. Rounded and slightly raised corners; straight edges. On the obverse, frame and depiction of an half-amphora (Panathenaic type III) in relief. In the corners, retrograde inscription in relief: ΔΗΜΟ.
