Archaeological description
CPAI III/1 : Square in form with rounded corners; edges are disproportional; worn and corroded. On the obverse, ΤΕ(ταρτον); below, bee?; in relief. The reverse is blank. It is a tetarton, i.e. one-fourth of a mna (mna of 450.4 g). This weight may belong to Ephesus since the bee is a civic badge of this city.
