Auction Leu 2024: WESTERN ASIA MINOR. Uncertain, 2nd-3rd centuries. Weight of 1 Ounkia (Lead, 41x32 mm, 26.09 g, 12 h), Demosthe(nes). Large A within linear square; above, countermark: herdsman standing right, leaning on staff below overarching tree; before him, goat standing on hind legs, eating fruits from tree above; around, circular legend ΔH...MΙO. Rev. ΔHM/OCΘЄ. Pondera -. An interesting weight with a beautifully designed countermark. Good very fine.
