Archaeological description
CPAI III/1 : Square in form; small part on the bottom right corner is broken away; worn and corroded. On the obverse is a tuna fish diagonally placed to left; to left above, ΤΡ(ίτον or ιτημόριον) in ligature; all in relief; incision to right below; The reverse is blank. Tuna fish is the civic badge of Cyzicus this weight maybe attributed to that city as the previous ones. The weight is a triton in unit, i.e. one-third of a mna (mna of 450.6 g).
