Archaeological description
CPAI II : Square in form. On the face, in relief, a thin torch between ΚΥ - ΖC which stands for Κυζικηνών στάτηρον; bottom is blank. Its mass is less for stater, but there is a hole on the left corner, so the original mass must have been nearly 8.00-9.00 g. We know some staters that their masses are calculated as didrachm (8.00-9.00 g), while others have been calculated as tetradrachm (16.00-18.00 g). The survived examples of the stater weights of Cyzicus vary from ca. 18.00 g to 30.52 g. The reason for this may be the change of weight standard in time.
Tekin 2016a: Missing mass due to hole.

Additional comment
CPAI II: For the examples of stater weights from Cyzicus see Weiss 1990, p. 120-121, nos. 5 (19.18 g), 6 (18.04 g), 7 (18.90 g), 8 (27.90 g) and 9 (30.52 g); Tekin 2013, no. 6.
Tekin 2016a: This weight was identified as a stater in the first publication but it should actually be a hemistateron.
