Archaeological description
A. Pugliese : « Roman basalt weight in the shape of a truncated sphere ; dark colour, well-polished, and in very good conditions, except for a few superficial scratches and some corrosion marks. In the centre of the upper base seven dots are incised to form the Roman numeral “V”. The diameter of the sphere is 10.15 cm ; the diameter of the upper base is 6.51 cm and that of the lower base is 6.65 cm. »
