Archaeological description
A. Pugliese : « Roman bronze weight in the shape of a truncated double cone. The piece shows little to no sign of wear or corrosion. The Roman numeral “V” (in different metal) is inserted in the centre of the lower base and indicates the denomination of five Libras. The upper base is concave and has a central dot in relief. The diameter of the object is 8.3 cm ; the diameter of the upper base is 5.55 cm and that of the lower base is 6 cm. »
