Archaeological description
A. Pugliese : « Roman bronze weight in the shape of a truncated double cone. The piece shows some signs of corrosion, with green patina and coarse surface particularly on the lower base. The numeral “I” (in different metal) is inserted in the centre of the lower base and indicates the denomination of one Libra. In the centre of the upper base a circle in relief is partially erased by corrosion. The diameter of the object is 4.93 cm ; the diameter of the upper base is 3.55 cm and that of the lower base is 3.89 cm. »
